About
Welcome to Coasters, a hidden gem located at 320 Huff St, Aransas Pass, Texas. Overlooking Conn Brown Harbor, this cozy eatery combines a waterfront view with a culinary experience that keeps patrons coming back for more. As I stepped in, I was immediately drawn to the relaxed atmosphere complemented by cool zephyr winds, creating an inviting ambiance perfect for family dinners or intimate outings.
The menu at Coasters boasts an enticing variety that reflects both creativity and locality. One dish that garnered rave reviews from diners is the mango habanero grilled fish, paired beautifully with the flavorful mango fried rice. Customers have described it as fresh and delicious, a true testament to the kitchen's commitment to quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation. Speaking of quality, the fisherman’s platter is another standout, featuring a perfectly cooked selection with a light, crispy batter that elevates the dish. It's no wonder diners like Jennifer Clark rave about their experiences here.
Brunch at Coasters is another highlight you won't want to miss. Regulars can't stop talking about the Pork Belly Hash and the Shrimp & Grits, both of which have left lasting impressions on visitors like H D. The New Orleans Benedict, quite the indulgence, is a little pricier but, according to the reviews, well worth every penny. The weekend brunch crowd is a testament to how this restaurant has carved a niche for itself in Aransas Pass's dining scene.
As I explored the drink menu, I treated myself to a traditional old fashioned. It was a perfect blend, setting the stage for what would become one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. My dining experience was rounded out with the sublime Bourbon Bread Pudding, which Mike Ming described aptly as a “wow” dessert—rich, decadent, and utterly satisfying. The attention to detail in both food and service is evident here.
User-friendly and welcoming, Coasters boasts a team of professionals dedicated to elevating your dining experience. The service is described as courteous and attentive, ensuring every guest feels valued and well cared for. As Tony Kobak enthused, the atmosphere here is simply “utterly delightful.”
In conclusion, Coasters is not just a restaurant; it’s a culinary experience that beautifully marries breathtaking views, a creative take on regional cuisine, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re looking to enjoy a family meal or unwind over brunch on a sunny weekend, Coasters delivers on all fronts. Don’t miss out on visiting this exceptional spot; I assure you—your taste buds will thank you!
“ My family had a GREAT dinner! The mango habanero grilled fish with mango fried rice was fresh and delicious. The fisherman’s platter was cooked perfectly with a nice, thin and crispy batter. Great service and a beautiful view! ”
“ An edit from a more recent visit: The Pork Belly Hash (added pic) was weekend special that is not on the menu and The Shrimp & Grits (also pictured added) were both excellent. This place has the best weekend brunch around. I go every weekend I can. Great restaurant on water by Conn Brown Harbor. I highly suggest Sat & Sun Brunch. The New Orleans Benedict is excellent, a little pricey but well worth it. I've had the Steak & Hash, it was good but probably the least favorite of the dishes I've had. Drinks are good and reasonably priced. Service is spot on, the kitchen cares and it shows in the food preparation. ”
“ My wife and I went for a Friday night supper at Coasters 3/8/24. Our first time there, but definitely not our last time there. We each started with a “traditional old fashioned”, from their drink menu, which was perfectly made! My wife ordered the “Fish of the day”, and I ordered the “Captains Fish”. Both dishes were prepared perfectly, and it was the best meal I’ve had dining out in forever! The “catch of the day”served with our meals was Red Drum, blackened, and was absolutely delicious!! We completed our dining experience with their “Bourbon Bread Pudding.” Wow! All was delicious! Our waitress was very professional, courteous, and attentive to us. The chef here is awesome! The atmosphere was very relaxing and the view was great of the small marina. I can’t really say enough good things about this place!!! We will definitely be back soon!! ”
“ Utterly Delightful! Don’t tell anyone about this place. I enjoyed easy open aire seating with great zephyr wind blowing in. Fish of the day in Mango habenero was outstanding. Now let me tell you about the most amazing bayou crawfish cake was probably the best i have ever had! ”
“ First time here. Food was delicious. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Great location, very relaxed atmosphere. Coasters is definitely a place I recommend. ”
“ First time here and food was on point and I’m picky! Also, had me the drink “Jack Frost” YUMMMY! Wait staff were awesome also! COASTERS now will be one of our favorite restaurants! ”
“ Very nice restaurant/bar on the marina near Conn Brown Harbor. Great food and outstanding service. Delicious beverages. Very reasonable prices. Brunch is also very good. Highly recommend! ”
“ We loved the dog friendly patio with nice covered, spread out, tables. We enjoyed all of our food including the mango habanero shrimp and the bayou cake appetizer. ”
